Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American performer and actress. She began by releasing hilarious, intelligently composed rap songs that addressed issues like racial identification and sexuality. She then expanded her audience to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Koreans living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was via the trumpet. Later, she began hip-hop and classical training. In college, she focused on her studies, and then studied women's studies as well as journalism. While she was for a brief amount during her time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also available. She turned her attention to music once she completed her degree. The song My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a popular viral sensation on the Internet and eventually appeared on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. The album also contained were other viral hits including Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitche$. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was a different idea. The singer decided to make a career as an actor after completing her first two endeavors, author and musician. She's appeared in movies including Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed many major roles like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. It was in June that she released In Fina We Trust.
