A former leading fashion model, almost 5'10'' in height, Carey was popular with the top American designers such as Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Her father is a renowned scientist who was named Scientist of the Year in 1979, at the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey was brought up all over the planet as a consequence of her father's career. As she was attending in the University of Colorado, Carey started modeling for a side. The Ford model agency located in New York noticed her and was willing to assist. Following her move to France in the summer of 1999, where she lived between Paris, Bordeaux and New York and then New York, she made the decision to go back home to New York and continue her training.
